Terms of service

The agreement between your care circle and CareCircleLog

These terms govern every CareCircleLog subscription and this website. In force since March 2, 2026.

1. Acceptance

By opening an account, by inviting another person into a care circle, or by using this website, you accept these terms on your own behalf and, where you act for a company or an agency, on behalf of that organization. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. The agreement is between you and MLJ, SASU, SIREN 934 769 837, publisher of CareCircleLog, whose contact address is jimenezjulien42@gmail.com.

2. What the service is

CareCircleLog is a web based record and coordination tool for families and care professionals looking after an aging adult. It holds a medication board with dose schedules and refill countdowns, an appointment calendar with an assigned driver, a rotating duty roster with reminders, visit and shift notes, a document store for paperwork such as a power of attorney, and printable summaries for clinical visits and emergency rooms. It runs in a current web browser on a computer, a tablet or a phone.

CareCircleLog is not a medical device and not a clinical decision system. It does not diagnose, does not advise on treatment, does not verify that a medication list is correct, and does not monitor a person in real time. Reminders are conveniences, not guarantees of delivery, and a message can be delayed or lost by a mobile carrier or an email provider outside our control. Nothing in the service replaces a physician, a pharmacist, a nurse or a licensed care manager, and in an emergency you must call 911 rather than rely on a reminder.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the account details you give us and for keeping your password to yourself. The account owner decides who joins a circle and what each member can see, and is responsible for having the right to share the information they enter about the person receiving care. Tell us at once if you believe an account has been accessed by somebody who should not have it, and we will lock it while you regain control.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service for coordinating care. Do not use it to harass a family member, to store material you have no right to hold, to attempt to reach another customer's circle, to probe or overload the infrastructure, to resell access without a written agreement, or to scrape the interface. We may suspend an account that puts other customers at risk, and where we can we warn you first and give you a chance to correct the problem.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Three plans are offered. One Parent costs $12 per month and covers one care recipient with up to three people in the circle. Family Circle costs $29 per month and covers one care recipient with unlimited members, aide check in links and the duty rotation. Care Team costs $59 per month and covers up to six care recipients with the care manager view, shift notes with photographs, CSV hour exports and two administrator seats. All prices are in United States dollars and exclude any sales tax or value added tax that applies where you are.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on the day of the month you started, by card, and they renew automatically until you stop them. A change of plan takes effect at the start of the next monthly period, and an upgrade in the middle of a period is prorated to the day. If a payment fails we retry it and write to you; if it has not cleared after ten days the account moves to read only rather than being deleted, so nobody loses a record because a card expired.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from the account page without contacting anyone and without giving a reason. The subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops, and no further charge is taken. We do not refund a partial month, except where the service was unavailable for a substantial part of it through our fault, in which case write to us and we will make it right. After cancellation you keep export access for 60 days.

7. Your data

The content of a care circle belongs to the account owner and the family, not to us. We hold it to run the service, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train machine learning models, and we do not read it except when you ask us to help with a specific problem or when the law compels us. You can export the whole log at any time as a dated PDF and a CSV file. When an account is deleted, the content is removed from active systems immediately and from backups within 35 days.

8. Availability and support

We aim for the service to be reachable 99.9 percent of the time each month, excluding announced maintenance, which we schedule outside United States business hours and announce inside the product at least 48 hours in advance. Support runs by email at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com with a reply within one business day, and within four business hours for Care Team accounts. We do not promise support by telephone.

9. Warranty disclaimer

Beyond the guarantees that cannot be excluded by law, the service is provided as it stands and as it is available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, that every reminder will arrive, that it will meet a particular clinical or regulatory requirement, or that the information a family enters is accurate. The record is only as good as what the circle writes into it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, for loss of data caused by a failure on your side, or for decisions about medication or treatment made by any person using the record. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MLJ, SASU against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content you enter that you had no right to share, or from a dispute between members of a circle you administer.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes or the law changes. Active customers are told by email at least 30 days before a material change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated. If a change does not suit you, cancel before it takes effect and the old terms apply until your period ends.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France. Consumers keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence, and nothing here removes a right that the law of your state or country gives you.
