Privacy policy
How CareCircleLog handles the information you send us
This policy covers the carecirclelog.com website and the contact form on it. Last updated March 2, 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data described here is MLJ, SASU, a company registered in Paris, France under SIREN 934 769 837, publisher of CareCircleLog. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. You can reach a human being about anything on this page at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. Messages about privacy are answered within one business day and are never routed through an outsourced support desk.
What the contact form collects
The form in the request section of the home page collects exactly these fields, and nothing else: name, your full name; email, the address we reply to; company, the family surname or agency name you give us; role, your role in the care circle chosen from a list; request, what you would like from us; size, roughly how many people help with care today; message, whatever you write about the hardest part of your week; and consent, the checkbox recording that you agreed to be contacted.
Three hidden fields travel with the submission for routing purposes: form-name, which tells the form service which form was used; subject, a fixed line identifying this website; and recipient, the mailbox that receives the message. A honeypot field called bot-field sits invisible on the page to catch automated spam; a real visitor never fills it, and a submission that contains it is discarded.
We ask you not to send medical details about the person you care for through this form. It is a sales and support channel, not a care record. If you want to describe a clinical situation, describe it in general terms, and we will show you where that information belongs inside a real account with proper access controls.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
We use what you send for one purpose: to answer you, arrange a walkthrough, and keep a short record of the conversation so a second message does not start from nothing. Under the European General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry that you started. Under United States state privacy laws the processing is a business purpose disclosed at the point of collection. We do not use your details for profiling, we do not enrich them with data bought from brokers, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask for one in writing.
Who processes the submission
Submissions are handled by Netlify Forms, a service of Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which also hosts this website. Netlify stores the submission on its infrastructure and forwards a copy by email to the publisher. Netlify acts as a processor on our instructions. No other third party receives the contents of your message, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in California law.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept for 24 months from the last message in the exchange, then deleted from both the form dashboard and the email mailbox. If you become a customer, the commercial record moves into our billing and support records and is kept for the duration of the subscription plus the periods French commercial and tax law require. If you ask us to delete an enquiry sooner, we delete it and confirm by email, usually the same day.
Cookies and measurement
This website sets no advertising cookies, no third party analytics cookies and no social media pixels. There is no tag manager on these pages and no external script beyond the two Google Fonts stylesheets used for typography. Your browser may cache the stylesheet, the script file and the images to make later visits faster, which is ordinary browser behavior and stores nothing about you. Server access logs kept by the host contain IP addresses for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
Your rights in the United States
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, and to ask for deletion. You may also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, although we do none of those things. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right: your price, your reply time and your support do not change. To make a request, email jimenezjulien42@gmail.com with the address you used, and we will verify you by replying to that address. Requests are answered within 45 days, and normally within a week. If we refuse a request we explain why, and you may appeal by replying to that decision; California residents may also complain to the California Privacy Protection Agency or the Attorney General.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, which does not affect processing already carried out. Send any of these requests to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which for the publisher is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes in France.
International transfers
The publisher is established in France and the form processor is established in the United States, so a submission sent from Europe is transferred to the United States. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, which Netlify incorporates into its data processing addendum, together with the technical measures described here. A submission sent from within the United States is processed in the United States.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, the security headers on every response block framing and content type sniffing, and access to the form dashboard is protected by a password manager generated credential and two factor authentication. Only the publication director reads the submissions. We keep dependencies updated and review who holds access to the systems behind this website at least once a year.
Children's privacy
CareCircleLog is a tool for adults coordinating care for another adult. The website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If a child has sent us information through the form, write to us and we will delete it immediately and confirm that it is gone.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it and the previous wording is kept in our records. Material changes, such as a new processor or a new purpose, are announced by email to active customers before they take effect. Continuing to use the website after a change means the current version applies to your visit.
